About Me

Who even is this guy?

THE liam potter

I'm an Australian game programmer, living and working from Brisbane. For my entire programming career, from 16 to 23, I've been designing and implementing game mechanics. I completed my Honours of Arts & Design in 2017, at age 20.

Experience

How and when did he get his EXP?

Trilum Studios
1 Year 6 Months
Trilum Studios was a company I co-founded with three other graduates upon completing our Honours degree. We developed three successful games during my time there. The final and biggest of the three was Cheeky Chooks, a game we developed for the RSPCA. Cheeky Chooks is an idle farming/building game where you raise all sorts of chickens. After we released it on Steam in November 2018, it quickly generated a massive positive response. It currently holds a 94% positive score from over 650 reviews.
University Projects
3 Years
During my studies, from 2014 to 2017, I developed eight projects. Six of those projects were games, the other two were a 3D environment and a complex procedural generation system. The game projects I worked on ranged from 2D platformers to third person planetary exploration games. Three of the six games were third person platformers, so I have plenty of experience with camera controls and platforming mechanics.
